
Velodrome means - our 'velozone' team go to rome ;). The eternal city was the main target of our third big trip across the europe. We planned to ride 3900 km through Alps and Apenines. Everything had gone well untill the fifth day since we leave rome, when Tomek had an accident with his bike which hurt his leg seriously and he couldn't ride for two weeks. After this accident we came back to home by train from Genua (we were travelling by train about 1400 km with 13 trains).
During the trip:
- - we rode 2240 km in 26 days,
- - passed through 6 countries,
- - we spent 3 days visiting rome,
- - ate 50 bars of chocolate,
- - drinked 87 bottles of water,
- - visited 14 places from Unesco Heritage List,
- - also visited beautiful cities - Melk, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Padua, Ravenna, Assisi, San Marino, Siena, Piza, San Gimignano, Genoa, Milan,
- - went up 2 passes over 2000 meters height: Hochtor and Passo di Falzarego, and a few lower'
- - visited 2 of the smallest countries in Europe - Vatican and san Marino
- - travelled 16 vehicles while return home (trains, buses and ford transit)
